Who we are

We believe in practical help with a personal connection. Whether it's navigating taxes, securing a loan, or standing with you in court, we are here because no one should do life alone.

Our Story: Beyond a Language

Welcome to Hebrew Therapy. Sarai Poynter founded this practice after realizing that Hebrew is more than a language. It is a culture based on community, integrity, and mutual support. This discovery became the foundation of the therapeutic approach and the vision for this practice.

At Hebrew Therapy, true healing is found in connection. The Hebrew concept of kehillah (community) teaches that no one should face difficult times alone. The mission is to create a safe, supportive space. This empowers individuals to connect with themselves and others in new, healthier ways.

Our Mission: A Path to Healing and Hope

The mission is to help people heal from traumatic experiences and find freedom from depression and anxiety. Everyone deserves a space to be authentic and discuss their journey without judgment.

No topic is off limits. This practice offers a safe place to explore anything weighing on your mind. Whether it’s discussing your finances in a session for taxes, talking in therapy, requesting help in court, or navigating a loan, we are here to help.

Our Approach: Integration and Compassion

Hebrew Therapy welcomes people from all backgrounds, faiths, and walks of life. The core of the work is to meet individuals where they are, honor their story, and empower them to reach their goals.

Though we are faith based, our approach to any session, is client-led. Clients decide what is most helpful for their journey. Hebrew Therapy respects and honors each individual's path and is there to support them.

The Founder: Sarai Poynter

As the founder of Hebrew Therapy, Sarai's journey has been defined by her commitment to helping others and her faith in Jesus Christ. The work is driven by Hebrew values of integrity (emet) and commitment. Integrity aligns actions with words and values, a principle embodied in every session. The goal is to empower individuals with the tools to live a purpose-driven life.
